2008 MDRC Travel Award
The MDRC is pleased to announce the selection of the three recipients
of the 2008 MDRC Travel Awards. We have received 15 applications
and forwarded those coming from MDRC laboratories to a committee
of 4 reviewers. The committee selected the following recipients:
1. Melkam Kebede (Post Doc, Poitout lab)
2. Eric Cardin (Ph.D, Larose lab)
3. Émilie Pepin (Ph.D., Prentki lab)
They each have received $800 to attend a scientific meeting. These
awards are made possible because of generous contributions of the
MDRC retreat sponsors (Merck Frosst, GSK, Lilly) and from the profits
of the fund-raising Jazz concert held January 11, 2008.
Congratulations!
